It is OPAg’s mandate to provide agricultural extension and on-site research services and facilities which include reducing disaster risk in the agriculture and fishery sector, prevention and control of plant pests and diseases; plant nurseries and demonstration farms; assistance in the organization of farmers and fishermen’s cooperative and other collective organizations; and industrial research and development services as well as the transfer of appropriate technologies.

Seremonyal na pamamahagi ng Agricultural Farm Inputs-Urea Fertilizer, isiginawa sa lalawigan ng Camarines Norte
Noong ika-18 ng Hulyo 2023 ay isinigawa ang seremonyal na pamamahagi ng mga agricultural farm inputs na Urea fertilizer na ipinagkaloob ng Department of Agriculture sa ilalim ng Fertilizer Donations mula sa bansang Tsina sa Pamahalaang Lalawigan ng Camarines Norte sa pamamagitan ng Office of the Governor at Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAg). Ito ay isiginawa sa Agri-Pinoy Trading Center, Sitio Mat-I, Sto.Domingo, Vinzons, Camarines Norte. Ito ay dinaluhan ng mga farmer recipients na nagmula sa sampung bayan ng Basud, Mercedes, Daet, Talisay, Vinzons, San Lorenzo Ruis, San Vicente, Jose Panganiban, Paracale at Labo.

In the inspiring journey of Mr. Eralf Andaya, born on October 15, 1992, in San Felipe, Basud, Camarines Norte, the guiding words of Jeremiah 29:11 have steered his life’s course. “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘ plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Having navigated through his academic years at San Felipe Elementary School and Basud National High School, Mr. Andaya pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of Rizal System, graduating in 2018.
